Terroir – Grill, Steak, Wine

Terroir, is a French term which means – the summation of all the features natural and man-induced that make a place and its produce unique and identifiable amongst many.

Terroir is a new restaurant situated on the first floor of the one of the most stylish boutique 5-star hotels in the Delhi NCR region, Galaxy Hotel on the NH8. Terroir is the current buzz in town for wine and steak lovers. Primarily a continental, steak and grill bar with a wide collection of wines, it is a nouveau take on relaxed fine dining with great grills and wines.

Wi-Not will be managing the launch of the restaurant and its upkeep, wine-wise. We will organise and host sommelier nights, informal wine club soireés, and other wine-centric activities. Sneak previews started much earlier and the final roll-out happened just recently on the 15th-16th of July 2009. About the Author

Gagan is much like a young wine in many senses; you have to spend time with him before he opens up. A certified wine expert and mixologist, Gagan pursued his love for beverages Down under, doing his Masters in Hospitality Management (specialising in wines) from Victoria University, Melbourne. He reserves a soft corner for Australian reds, German Rieslings and Gewürztraminer. As much as he loves to experiment with new cuisines, he also has a taste for adventure – paragliding, bungee jumping, rafting, skydiving and playing squash. His interests include blogging, back to back movie spree, cooking for self and travelling. He is a music-fanatic and loves being left alone with his PSP. Beef steak and wine rate high on his agenda as also does a Bourbon and cola.
