Retail is undoubtedly the most undervalued entry-point for wines currently in the country and with due reason. The stringent laws combined with advertising restrictions make wine the most difficult commodity to sell and market since official non-pirated versions of software! But, things are fast changing, markets are opening up and laws are relaxing to allow this channel to develop. We have been involved with several nationwide in-shop promotions where we interact with consumers directly as they go about their daily shopping in certain exquisite consumer outlets. From wine and cheese tastings to discussing the merits of certain wine styles to suggesting affordable wines to accompany their dinner that evening…the idea is always to add value to their shopping experience while spreading wine awareness.
